1. HP Pavilion dv6000t (Previously #1) - The dv6000t is popular, and in a big way. No wonder though. Its 15.4" widescreen form factor is the most popular type and the dv6000t is widely available in stores. The cool design of the dv6000t with its imprint finish and offering of a powerful Core 2 Duo processor and Nvidia 7400 graphics card make this Vista loaded notebook a nice choice for a multimedia home PC. 2. Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (Previously #2) - The ThinkPad T60 is available with either a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processor. It comes with either a 14" or 15" display, there is also a widescreen version of the 15" T60. This thin and light is all about business, featuring one of the best keyboards in the industry, dual pointing devices and optional integrated WAN. 3. Dell Inspiron e1505 / Inspiron 6400 (Previously #3) - The Inspiron e1505 holds steady from last month. The Inspiron e1505, sold as the Inspiron 6400 through Dell business, is fully customizable and now includes the Core 2 Duo processor, a high resolution 15.4" display and several drive options. Windows Vista now comes pre-loaded on any e1505 you configure. Dell has found a nice blend of performance and price with the e1505. 4. Toshiba Satellite A135 (new to top 10) - The Toshiba Satellite A135 is a new Toshiba laptop with a 15.4" screen and sporting Windows Vista. The A135 can be configured in a variety of ways, anything from a Celeron processor to Core 2 Duo. The A135 is a good choice for first time laptop buyers. 5. Sony VAIO SZ (Previously #5) - Performance in a small package, that sums up the Sony VAIO SZ. The bright glossy 13.3" display is powered by dedicated graphics and a Core Duo processor. Sony also introduced an SZ4 recently available with Core 2 Duo. The SZ has been popular for a long time and is holding very strong. It is now available with Windows Vista too. 6. Apple MacBook Pro (new to top ten) - Apple's MacBook Pro is one of the nicest looking notebooks on the market. It's not all about beauty though, the MacBook Pro offers an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI X1600 video card and DVI output in a 15.4" or 17" screen size. 7. HP Pavilion dv9000t (new to top ten) - The HP dv9000t is an Intel Core 2 Duo powered offering with a 17-inch screen. You can now get the dv9000t with Windows Vista. The dv9000t offers a built-in number pad, lots of multimedia features, slick HP imprint wave design and best of all -- a price of around $1,000! 8. Sony VAIO TX (new to top ten) - The Sony VAIO TX series is Sony's sleak ultraportable offering. With a stunningly bright 11.1" screen, low weight of 2.4lbs and integrated DVD drive for entertainment or work on the go, this laptop was made for the road warrior. You can get various WWAN options for connecting to the internet over a cellular connection as well. 9. Sony VAIO FE (new to top ten) - The Sony VAIO FE series from Sony has a 15.4" widescreen, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, optional built-in camera, swappable multi-function optical drive bay and a vivid X-Brite display technology. The VAIO FE now comes standard with Windows Vista Home Premium. 10. Toshiba Satellite P105 (new to top ten) - The Toshiba Satellite P105 is a desktop replacement 17" screen notebook offerings. It features a number pad in the keyboard, glossy widescreen display, harman kardon speakers, great build quality, a cool dual mode touchpad and comes standard with Windows Vista now. It can be configured on a budget for $999 or tricked out with all high end components and cost $2,000.
