LG KE850 Prada
The KE850 is the first phone that LG and Prada are offering as a collaboration. LG electronics which is one of the leading companies in consumer electronic goods has teamed up with one of the world’s leading brands in luxury goods–Prada and brought forth the KE850. LG and Prada seem to have worked on this product very closely and combined their relative strengths to make this piece a real beauty. Prada’s contribution surely extends beyond the exterior esthetics. The advanced touch interface, ring tones, content, accessories and the leather case seem to be inspired by classic Italian craftsmanship. Surely, this combination of two pioneers in their respective fields should mean that the KE850 would be a big success. This phone is a real milestone in the smart phone industry and boasts of uniqueness, sophistication and elegance with an advanced touch interface. If we were to compare the KE850 with other phones in the market, the iPhone would be the nearest match. The KE850 comes with a touch screen similar to Apple’s iPhone.
The KE850 boats of an advanced capacitative touch screen interface that eliminates the need for a conventional keypad to control the phone. The touch screen makes the overall use of the KE850 a tactile and new experience. The screen is much wider than many conventional phones. This wide screen means that the user can benefit from other features of the phone like the 2 mega pixel camera, video player and document viewer. Others countries have to wait until March! Customers in Asian countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore have to wait until march to get their hands on the KE850. A Korean version of the phone is also in development. It will be available in the mid of 2007.
